Job Description
Leidos is seeking a Lead Distribution Engineer in Maui, HI who is passionate about electric utility design engineering. The role involves developing work packages for OH, UG, URD, Make Ready and Street Light projects, and supporting structural analysis, guying calcs, and coordination of protective devices.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of prior relevant experience is required
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) from an ABET accredited institution
  • Experience with OH framing and design, UG distribution design, Voltage Conversion projects, Road Widening Projects, Major Underground Projects, Conductor replacements, and OH to UG conversions
  • Proficient with O-Calc and line design as well as SAG10 analysis
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation for Electrical Distribution design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
