Role OverviewThe position serves as the DMV Program Accountability Auditor within the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Business Operations Section, Accountability Unit, and assists the Accountability Manager with oversight, coordination, and administration of statewide audit and compliance activities.
What You Will Do
Perform complex financial, operational, compliance, and data management audits to determine adherence to applicable federal and state laws, administrative rules, contractual requirements, DMV policies, procedures, and established internal controls.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution
- three (3) years progressively responsible experience related to the area of assignment
- considerable knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, practices, reporting guidelines, and generally accepted auditing standards
- demonstrated ability to interpret and explain results and procedures used in an audit examination
- demonstrated ability to recognize complex and unique issues and develop resolutions
- considerable knowledge of auditing and accounting theories, principles, and system design
