Role OverviewThe Lead Facilities-Grounds Technician will provide maintenance for the physical condition of all center facilities at River Bend Hospital in West Lafayette, Indiana. This position works Monday through Friday 7AM-3:30PM as well as on-call as needed on weekends and nights.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include scheduling and prioritizing work orders, coordinating with Facilities Director, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, and responding to maintenance/custodial requests.

The ideal candidate will have high school diploma or equivalent, previous experience within a behavioral health hospital setting, and completion of formal technical training in a related field. They will also have HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Mechanical skills, as well as grounds keeping knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience within a behavioral health hospital setting preferred
- Completion of formal technical training in a related field preferred
- ASHE Certified Health Care Worker certification also preferred
- Valid driver's license, a driving record meeting Meridian's driving policy, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
- HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Mechanical skills
- Grounds keeping knowledge preferred
