Role OverviewThe Lead Facilities-Grounds Technician will provide maintenance for the physical condition of all center facilities at River Bend Hospital in West Lafayette, Indiana. This position works Monday through Friday 7AM-3:30PM as well as on-call as needed on weekends and nights.
What You Will Do
The Lead Facilities-Grounds Technician will be responsible for scheduling and prioritizing work orders, coordinating with the Facilities Director, and assisting with managing external contractors. They will also be responsible for training other maintenance staff on systems, procedures, and policies, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, and equipment servicing.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience within a behavioral health hospital setting preferred
- Completion of formal technical training in a related field preferred
- ASHE Certified Health Care Worker certification also preferred
- Valid driver's license, a driving record meeting Meridian's driving policy, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
- HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Mechanical skills
- Grounds keeping knowledge preferred
