Responsibilities include serving as lead person in financial matters, obtaining payment on patient accounts, and working with patients, family members, insurance companies, and outside financial assistance agencies.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with two years of experience in collections, or an associate's degree in business or a related field with one year of experience in collections.
Requirements
- High School Diploma OR GED with two (2) years of experience in collections
- Associate's Degree in Business or related field and one (1) year of experience in collections
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
- Must be able to type a minimum of 30 wpm or better
- Prior experience in healthcare environment
- S. degree in Business or Health Administration
- Three (3) or more year’s collection experience
- CPAR Certified
- CFC Certified
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- Ability to train and direct the work of others
