Role Overview

This is an onsite role based in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Vue.js, modern JavaScript frameworks, application architecture, and Agile software development practices. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can design scalable solutions from the ground up, mentor developers, and ensure adherence to security, performance, and development best practices.

What You Will Do

Lead and mentor a small web development team, providing technical guidance and support. Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications from scratch. Develop and maintain user-facing applications using Vue.js.

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of experience in web application design and development
  • Experience leading or managing a small software development team
  • 2+ years of strong hands-on experience with Vue.js
  • Strong experience designing applications from scratch and building scalable architectures
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, service-oriented approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern JavaScript development practices
  • Strong expertise in Vue.js and its core concepts, including: Components, Reactivity, Virtual DOM
  • Experience with the Vue.js ecosystem: Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, Nuxt.js
  • Strong knowledge of: HTML5, CSS3, Sass/Less
  • Understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and related use cases
  • Knowledge of both Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional Programming principles
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Ability to develop secure, high-quality, maintainable, and performant applications
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as: Jest, Mocha
  • Proficiency with modern development tools including: Babel, Webpack, Git
