Role OverviewThe Lead Transfer Care Specialist is responsible for initiating the transfer of a decedent safely and properly from the place of death to the Decedent Care Center and from the Decedent Care Center to the place of memorial/service. They contribute to the overall efficiency of the location by maintaining open and effective communication and maintaining accurate and timely client files.
What You Will Do
The Lead Transfer Care Specialist will perform initial and subsequent transfers of decedents, maintain proper paperwork, and adhere to all regulations and procedures. They will also oversee staffing, onboarding, and training of new hires, and maintain a professional appearance.

Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and on-call shifts with no regular hours as needed
- Ability to lift more than 100lbs safely
- Valid state-issued driver's license with a clear driving record
