Lead IT Security Architect - REMOTE

CNO Financial Group is hiring a Lead IT Security Architect to develop security architecture standards, assess security risks, and provide information security subject matter expertise. The role requires 10+ years of progressive IT experience and 3+ years of experience as a security architect or related role.

What You Will Do

The Lead IT Security Architect will enhance and maintain access governance segregation of duties process, create security architecture standards, identify and provide design requirements for security risks, and provide information security subject matter expertise to technology teams and projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree, and demonstrated knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies, including associated cybersecurity risks and governance/regulatory considerations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience
• 3+ years of experience as a security architect or related role
• CISSP certification a plus, or other relevant security certifications
• In depth knowledge of information security practices related to PCI, SOX, HIPAA/HITECH, and OWASP application security
• Solid understanding of information security standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO27001, etc.)
• Experience implementing security at the application, network and operating system levels
