Role OverviewThe Lead Janitor plays a key role in ensuring high-quality custodial services are delivered in compliance with Federal contract requirements. This position provides daily leadership, coordination, and oversight of custodial staff while upholding Didlake’s mission to create opportunities that enrich the lives of people with disabilities.
What You Will Do
Provide overall direction, coordination, evaluation, and supervision of custodial staff assigned to the contract. Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevator banks, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.

Prior supervisory experience in a custodial or maintenance environment. Ability to lead, motivate, and support employees with disabilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from the 12th grade.
- One (1) year of recent, relevant experience in commercial custodial or maintenance services.
- Ability to pass and maintain a security clearance background check.
- Valid driver's license and be insurable under Didlake's automobile policy.
- Ability to read simple instructions, distinguish between words and numbers, and communicate verbally and in writing using simple sentences.
