Job Description
The Lead Launch Electrical Coordinator role is responsible for driving the plant's Electrical First Time Quality (EFTQ) performance and delivering sustained improvements across electrical manufacturing systems. The role leads, develops, and empowers a team responsible for executing all Electrical Bill of Operations (BoO) elements across both Steady State and Launch, ensuring alignment to plant objectives and enterprise quality metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with automotive electrical systems, manufacturing engineering, or plant-based electrical operations.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including leading technical teams, coaching performance, and holding individuals accountable to results.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and metrics, such as Electrical First Time Quality (EFTQ), DRR, GCA, or equivalent plant quality indicators.
  • Proficiency with structured problem-solving and documentation systems, including GSIP, PRTS, SPPS, or similar manufacturing issue-tracking tools.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
