Role OverviewThe Panel Shop Lead Technician – Manufacturing & Installation plays a hands-on leadership role in the build and wiring of electrical control panels for internal and external customers at Pillar Innovations. This position is suited for an experienced technician with a strong understanding of electrical control panels and wiring practices who can lead by example on the shop floor. In addition to building and troubleshooting panels, this role helps guide daily work, support quality standards, and mentor technicians by sharing knowledge and best practices.
What You Will Do
Exercise safe electrical practices, assist personnel in identifying hazards, read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications, and train and mentor Panel Shop Techs.

Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience and/or education in electrical related work preferred
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Ability to oversee small projects
- Ability to work under minimal supervision, within broad guidelines of procedures and goals
- Ability to independently troubleshoot electrical circuits, boards, etc.
- Ability to differentiate color codes
- Ability to read, interpret, and mark up electrical schematics
- Proficient in electrical theory and shop standards
- Proficient in the use of basic and advanced hand and power tools
