Role OverviewThe Polysomnographic Technologist performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the direct supervision of a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or the clinical director (MD, PhD, and DO).
What You Will Do
Collect, analyze and integrate patient information, prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes and sensors, perform physiologic calibrations, and implement interventions.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have current American Heart Association BLS certification, license by Board of Polysomnography (NJ), and proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- License by Board of Polysomnography (NJ)
- Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred
