Role Overview

Lead the daily classroom routine, plan engaging lessons, and support each child's individual development in a busy, joyful classroom of curious 3–4-year-olds.

What You Will Do

Lead the daily classroom routine, implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities, create engaging learning opportunities, and conduct developmental assessments.

Loves working with preschoolers, has strong classroom leadership skills, demonstrates warmth, patience, creativity, and excellent communication skills, and can lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or a GED and 30 credits in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field;
  • OR a high school diploma or a GED, and 15 credits in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and one year of experience with children;
  • OR a high school diploma or GED and two years experience working with children.
