Job Description
Lead Principal Radiology Technologist to operate radiographic equipment and produce diagnostic images at UCLA Health's West Valley Medical Center, with training required and a salary range of $58.74 - $77.50 hourly.

Requirements

  • ARRT certification
  • CRT license
  • Fluoroscopic permit
  • BCLS certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • At least 5 years experience in diagnostic radiology
  • Specialized in more than two areas above and Special Fluoroscopic Procedures/C-Arms
  • Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program graduate
  • Ability to precept New Hires and Students
  • Ability to adapt to advancement and changing technology
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, with ability to distinguish between types of procedures within the assigned department(s) and medical diagnoses
  • Skill in employing independent decision making while performing various job functions
  • Telephone manners and skills to handle heavy telephone lines with courtesy and tact
  • Understand the requirements of the EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act)
