Role Overview

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Designer to shape the future of Home Lending for customers and employees. This role goes beyond designing individual screens or workflows, bringing clarity to complex journeys across the mortgage lifecycle. The designer will create a cohesive story of where the experience is headed, helping teams envision and build intuitive, accessible, and meaningful experiences.

What You Will Do

Lead end-to-end design of complex customer and employee experiences across Home Lending, translating customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints into intuitive solutions. Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and reusable patterns. Use research, usability testing, and AI-enabled tools to accelerate learning and improve experience quality. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder reviews, and partner with Product, Technology, Content Strategy, and business teams.

This role is for a strategic, hands-on designer who can see the whole journey and translate complexity into possibility. Required qualifications include 5+ years of digital product design experience. Desired qualifications include advanced proficiency with Figma, FigJam, and enterprise design systems, experience designing complex digital products or enterprise platforms, and strong storytelling skills. The position offers a hybrid work schedule and is not eligible for visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Online and Digital Product Design, Information Sciences, Graphic and Visual Arts experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
