Role OverviewThe Lead Production is responsible for assisting the production leadership in the daily coordination of work activities and the development of production employees. The role ensures that safety, quality, policies, and procedures are followed; production schedules are achieved; and leads the assigned product work cell.
What You Will Do
Ensure production team conformance to safety procedures, ensure product quality requirements are met, lead the production team to ensure daily and weekly production schedules are met, and escalate production issues cross-functionally.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, ERP system knowledge, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in Project management and LEAN Manufacturing is a plus.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment
- ERP system knowledge
- Knowledge of computer skills required to send and receive emails, use ADP/HRMS, use test operating systems, and other systems to communicate with supervisors or any others within Stratasys
- Ability to read and understand work instructions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with others
