Job Description
At HDR, we're looking for a Lead Project Accountant to join our team. As a lead, you'll supervise a Project Accountant team, review contract documents, run financial meetings, and provide detailed analysis and reporting on project status. You'll work closely with technical staff, project leads, and managers to make recommendations and communicate with key decision-makers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related business degree
  • Experience successfully managing and training a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and 'can-do' attitude
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various managers in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle confidential information
