Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Protection Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience with power system study software and 5+ years of fault analysis, postmortem analysis, and/or mis-operation mitigation efforts. The successful candidate will lead and perform technical work on projects, communicate with customers, and develop strong working relationships.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of calculating settings for electromechanical, solid state, and microprocessor protection devices
  • Ability to write code for macros or scripts that aid in performing studies or calculating relay settings
  • Proficiency in developing standard settings templates and procedures
  • Organizational skills to maintain all project documentation
  • Technical leadership aptitude for projects
  • 7-10 years of experience with capabilities in three-phase power systems, protection and control schemes, and electromechanical, solid state, and microprocessor protection devices
