Role Overview

The Lead QA Engineer will implement and own Continuous Delivery, Deployment, and Monitoring using Morgan Stanley's strategic tools and infrastructure, while continuously improving existing processes and identifying opportunities for further enhancements. This role is part of the Technology division, which leverages innovation to build connections and capabilities that power the Firm.

What You Will Do

Work in fast-paced release cycles to deliver key business changes to production within stipulated timelines. This includes building test and deployment pipelines, deploying test environments on demand, preparing input data, running regression tests, automating manual tests, and validating and monitoring production systems.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple functions and provide guidance to junior staff while leading key initiatives.
  • Advanced understanding of the business line and discipline, with some knowledge of the competitive environment and related disciplines.
  • Strong DevOps expertise and knowledge of best practices are required to understand system architecture and infrastructure and adapt them to meet business goals.
  • Experience with Java is desirable.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
