Job Description
The Lead Recovery Specialist II ensures the completion of duties of clinical staff by supporting and clarifying Recovery Specialist and Peer Support Specialist roles, providing direct services and working with program leadership in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and services.

Requirements

  • Four years of direct service experience working in mental health and/or with people who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
  • Must hold Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Must be proficient in implementing Individual Behavior Support Plans (IBSPs)
  • Proficient understanding of client advocacy and client rights as defined in Title 17 and Title 9
  • Knowledge of basic nursing skills and interventions, as well as mental and physical health conditions and terminologies
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment
