Role OverviewThe ACCS Lead Residential Counselor provides direct service to adults with mental health conditions in a GLE/SIE residential setting. The role helps persons served in the residences to overcome barriers to, and prepare for, living independently. The ACCS Lead Residential Counselor assumes administrative officer roles in the program to support the Program Director in performance of their duties and responsibilities.
What You Will Do
The ACCS Lead Residential Counselor will implement treatment plan support interventions, administer medications, provide crisis interventions, and perform physical site maintenance. They will also ensure a safe, comfortable, and clean environment.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year as a residential counselor in a setting working with Persons Served facing mental health challenges
- One to two years of job-specific experience in the human services field
- Ability to make independent judgments and decisions
- Ability to work in a professional and confidential capacity
- Knowledge of personal computer applications and equipment
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least six months
- Must become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment
