Role OverviewThis is a high-impact opportunity to lead a mature SEO program into the next generation of search. As a senior leader, you will inherit an established portfolio and have the autonomy to shape the agency’s strategy across Local Search and AI Engine Optimization (AIEO).
What You Will Do
Own the overarching Local SEO and AIEO strategy, mentor and provide technical direction to a talented SEO team, develop and update agency SOPs, manage and troubleshoot Google Business Profiles, research and implement AI-powered tools, and define meaningful KPIs.

Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on SEO experience with a focus on local/multi-location search
- Must be based in North America and able to work North American time zones
- Deep knowledge of local ranking factors, including citations, NAP consistency, local link acquisition, and location page strategy
- Demonstrated understanding of generative search, structured data, and topical authority within the context of AI-search experiences
- Strong command of technical SEO, including audits, crawlability, schema implementation, and site architecture
- Experience managing SEO professionals or serving as the strategic lead across a diverse portfolio of clients
- Previous experience in an agency environment, specifically working with multi-location brands, home services, or medical clients
