Role Overview

This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development, and maintenance of best-in-class software experiences. The candidate will be a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization, taking responsibility for the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain products, taking full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code, creating optimal design adhering to architectural best practices, and conducting code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Six to eight years of relevant experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot
  • Experienced in building REST-API and Microservices from scratch
  • Experienced with Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes, Istio
  • Some experience with Open-source Streaming - Kafka
  • Experienced with Open-source Databases - PostgreSQL, Cassandra
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and application design skills
