Lead Software Engineer

Requirements

• Maintain and administer Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Enterprise deployments on Linux servers
• Lead development of Esri web applications, including Experience Builder solutions
• Maintain Java servlets and web applications hosted in Apache Tomcat
• Develop backend automation and services using Python and shell scripting
• Build software solutions centered on geospatial data, map-based search, and visualization
• Research and implement optimizations for low-bandwidth network environments
• Gather and document software requirements from customers and stakeholders
• Review team progress in an Agile/Scrum environment and recommend new tasking
• Conduct application security reviews using DISA STIG checklists
• Facilitate harvesting and synchronization of meteorology and oceanography (METOC) data from government and scientific sources
• Support migration of software, data, and services to cloud environments
• Organize and maintain accurate metadata for METOC products and services
