Job Description
The Lead Steward oversees the stewarding team and ensures the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all kitchen and service areas. This role supports kitchen operations by maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-organized back-of-house environment while enforcing health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Requirements
Previous steward or dishwashing experience required; leadership experience preferred
Knowledge of sanitation standards, chemical handling, and workplace safety
Ability to lead and communicate effectively with diverse teams
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
