Job Description
Wood is currently looking for a Lead Structural Engineer for our expanding offshore brownfield engineering. This position is Onsite in Metairie, LA. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement civil/structural engineering solutions to safely decommission offshore facilities while minimizing environmental impact and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 10+ years of experience in offshore structural engineering with expertise in platform decommissioning, structural modifications, and foundation design
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in finite element analysis (FEA), seismic analysis, and structural integrity
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
