Role OverviewThe Lead Teacher - NC Pre-K will support classroom instruction and create a safe, nurturing learning environment for preschool-age children. Key responsibilities include implementing NC Pre-K-approved curriculum, planning and delivering developmentally appropriate instruction, supporting social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development, and maintaining a safe, engaging, and organized classroom environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have NC Pre-K Lead Teacher credentials, at least 2 years of experience working with preschool-age children, and experience with TSG and lesson planning. Strong communication and computer skills are also required.
Requirements
- NC Pre-K Lead Teacher credentials (B-K License or BA/BS in ECE or related field with NC Pre-K eligibility)
- At least 2 years of experience working with preschool-age children
- Experience with TSG and lesson planning
- Knowledge of NC Early Learning Standards
