Job Description
Ombudsman Educational Services is seeking a Lead Teacher to join their award-winning Alternative Education team. The role involves ensuring adherence to curriculum standards, coaching and mentoring site teachers, and fulfilling core teaching responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field of study
  • Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a valid MS state teaching credential
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management training
  • Prior experience and highly knowledgeable in curriculum development, differentiation and instruction
  • Prior experience teaching mathematics and/or English at a high school level preferred
  • Proven success in developing and implementing effective education plans for at-risk students with diverse needs
