Role OverviewThe Lead Teacher is responsible for coordinating daily activities in an early learning program and providing a safe and nurturing environment for early childhood-aged children.
What You Will Do
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans, serve as a role model to staff and participants, and manage materials and supplies.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have 240 hours of experience in an approved education setting
- Must have completed high school or equivalent
- Must meet Child Care Licensing requirements
- Must be able and willing to obtain CPR, First Aid, AED, Abusive Head Trauma, Mandated Reporter, Wisconsin Registry certification, and additional non-credit coursework
- Must have a sincere interest and ability to comprehend needs and develop positive outcomes in children from diverse populations
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with others
- Ability to relate effectively with diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required
