Job Description
Role Overview

The Lead Fleet Technician will set the tone for safety, quality, and uptime, handling advanced diagnostics and repairs on medium/heavy vehicles, overseeing inspection readiness, and guiding technicians through preventive maintenance cycles.

What You Will Do

Diagnose and repair automotive and diesel systems, perform engine adjustments, rebuilds, and test drives, complete required safety inspections, and accurately log labor hours, parts used, and completed work.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in medium or heavy truck fleet mechanic repair, plus a minimum of one year of leadership experience or training, and will be proficient with diagnostic equipment and have advanced technical knowledge of major vehicle components.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years medium or heavy truck fleet mechanic repair experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year leadership experience or training
  • Proficient with diagnostic equipment
  • Advanced technical knowledge of major vehicle components
  • Valid applicable state license (CDL preferred)
  • ASE Certification is desirable but not required
