Role Overview

As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess and document your student's progress. You will help lead innovative learning activities that promote children’s development and growth, ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, and create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include helping to lead learning activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, monitoring children’s progress and development, and creating a positive learning environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development / CDA Certified preferred
  • 2-5 years prior experience working in a certified child development center
  • Prior experience with the assigned age group
  • Ability to use standard office equipment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Patience, collaboration, creativity, and passion for Early Childhood education
