Job Description
The Lead Processor assists the Warehouse Manager or Store Manager with sorting textiles and discarding unusable items by monitoring the work flow of other sorters. The job involves evaluating and separating usable pre-sorted textiles, providing additional coverage in the pre-sorting area, assisting in tagging, pricing, and preparing store shipments, and keeping the work area neat and organized.

Requirements

  • Evaluates and separates usable pre-sorted textiles from donations and places in appropriate location or receptacle.
  • Provides additional coverage in the pre-sorting area by separating items into categories as defined by the supervisor.
  • Assists in tagging, pricing, and preparing store shipments.
  • Sorts and prices wares as assigned.
  • Keeps work area neat and organized.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to visually determine flaws in textiles to be sorted.
