Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Water Treatment Mechanic to lead service mechanics responsible for maintenance and operational reliability of water/wastewater treatment systems and related infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading technical maintenance tasks and projects to support optimal plant operations.
What You Will Do
Oversee complex maintenance, repair, and installation of pumps, motors, valves, blowers, chemical feed systems, and other treatment equipment. Diagnose equipment and systems issues. Plan and execute preventative and corrective maintenance programs.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or relevant work experience in lieu of degree
- 5-10 years of experience in hands-on water and/or wastewater treatment experience
- Thorough knowledge of water/wastewater treatment and theory
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex water systems to ensure zero downtime
- Understanding of Health and Safety planning
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer applications for data management and reporting
