Job Description
The Leader of Benefits and Recognition is responsible for managing the company benefit plans and recognition programs, including designing, implementing, and communicating plans, as well as managing benefits administration and compliance.

Requirements

  • Plan and direct implementation and administration of Team Member benefit programs
  • Design, plan, administer and communicate the Parker’s Recognition program
  • Manage the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures
  • Coordinate and execute annual enrollment strategy
  • Evaluates and recommends new or modified plans; develop census data and market carriers and vendors for quotes; evaluate quotes and make recommendations to the Benefits Committee
  • Develop company cost information for new plans and make premium cost share recommendations to management
  • Prepare and execute, with legal consultation, benefits documents including original and amended plan texts, benefit agreements, and insurance policies and ensure prompt and accurate compliance
  • Assure company compliance with provisions of state and federal regulations (Employee Retirement Income Act, Affordable Care Act) and supervise preparation of reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies such as the Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, and other regulatory agencies
  • Review and analyze changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits and report necessary or suggested changes to management; coordinate company benefits with government-sponsored programs
  • Develop benefits information and statistical and census data for actuaries, insurance carriers, and management
  • Handle benefits inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution; maintain contact in person, by phone, or by mail with hospitals, physicians, insurance companies, Team Members, and beneficiaries to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all Team Members
  • Supervise maintenance of enrollment and claims records for all benefit plans
  • Consult with company leaders, health care professionals, and carriers to evaluate, develop, and implement return-to-work accommodations and other responses for disabled Team Members
  • Work closely with Compliance, Legal and management to ensure policies and procedures are addressed and documented, that vendors are compliant with all regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Maintains relationships with all benefits provider
  • Plan and direct award and recognition event productions and activities
  • Responsible for all phases of planning of annual award dinners including contracts, them, entertainment, management and presentation of awards, invitations, communication, guest rooms, menus, etc.
  • Responsible for managing and administering corporate recognition program
  • Coordinate all company recognition activities and programs; present improvement recommendations to management
  • Coordinate all company uniform programs
