Role OverviewThe Leadership Development Contractor will oversee and facilitate training and support for educational leaders in Massachusetts, building leadership pipelines, and providing coaching and mentoring support for new school and district leaders. The Contractor will work closely with other DESE staff and have frequent interactions with school and district leaders, education advocacy groups, and research organizations.
What You Will Do
The Leadership Development Contractor will support the development of culturally responsive school and district leaders, lead the implementation of leadership pipelines, and perform other duties as assigned. Travel may be required.

Requirements
- At least 15 years of full-time or equivalent part-time supervisory or managerial experience in public administration or education management
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial capacity
- A master's degree in education or another relevant field (preferred)
