Role Overview

The Leasing & Marketing Assistant assists in planning community events, participates in on-and off-campus activities, and provides service to prospective residents. The role requires an outgoing and quality leader to the Community Ambassadors. The Assistant reports to the Community Manager and is responsible for various tasks, including leasing, marketing, general administration, financial management, personnel, customer service, and risk control.

What You Will Do

The Leasing & Marketing Assistant will monitor and maintain model and tour routes, assist with leasing data tracking and reporting, develop and execute methods to retain residents and gain new ones, create and maintain relationships with vendors, organize and manage monthly resident and marketing events, and ensure follow-up activities for prospective residents.

Requirements

  • Understand and adhere to the Landmark Properties policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment
  • Assist in roommate placement and matching
  • Understand the lease document and all related addendums
  • Participate in all move-in related activities
  • Manage time efficiently and effectively
  • Assist in maximizing revenue and occupancy
  • Collect rents, security deposits, and other income as requested
  • Operate marketing activities within the confines of the marketing budget
  • Provide documentation/receipts for all company purchases
  • Co-facilitate annual Leasing Training
  • Assist in tracking Leasing Ambassador performance through lease audits
  • Understand the needs and expectations of prospective residents, clients, and vendors
  • Develop a sense of community among prospective residents and staff
  • Maintain active and effective communication with prospective residents, parents, and university personnel
  • Represent the community and Landmark Properties in a professional manner
  • Maintain a positive community environment for both prospective residents and associates
  • Encourage participation in events and activities
  • Assist future residents in mediation conflicts
  • Assist in keeping the community clean by surveying common areas regularly and reporting any concerns
  • Document and address behaviors of residents that violate the law or the community lease agreement
  • Identify and report safety and security risks to the Community Manager
