Role OverviewBoom is looking for a detail-oriented, process-driven Leasing Operations Lead to own the end-to-end applicant experience on behalf of our property management partners. This is a new function at Boom - you'll be the person who builds it.
What You Will Do
Manage end-to-end application review across a portfolio of residential properties - document collection, income verification, status communication, and final decision guidance. Issue approvals, conditional approvals, and denials in accordance with property-specific screening criteria, fair housing regulations, and FCRA requirements.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in residential leasing, applicant operations, or a closely related property management role
- Hands-on experience reviewing income documentation — pay stubs, bank statements, employment letters — and making qualification decisions against defined criteria
- Working knowledge of fair housing laws, FCRA requirements, and adverse action procedures
- Strong written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open applications and partner relationships simultaneously
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment where you're building the process, not inheriting it
- Experience with property management software (AppFolio, Yardi, Rent Manager, or similar) is a plus
