Role OverviewThe Leasing Professional will be responsible for showing and leasing apartments to prospective residents, developing and maintaining resident relations, and performing various administrative tasks. The role requires excellent communication and sales skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Leasing Professional will work closely with the Community Manager and other staff members to ensure a positive and supportive work environment.
What You Will Do
The Leasing Professional will perform duties such as communicating with prospective residents, developing and maintaining resident relations, and completing lease forms and collecting rental deposits. The role also involves inspecting the condition of model apartments, compiling and updating listings of available rental units, and assisting with the composition of newspaper advertisements.

Requirements
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
- six months to one year related experience and/or training
- ability to generate reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, customers, and the general public
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
