Job Description
Schneider is seeking a Leave and Accommodation Specialist to review and determine eligibility for FMLA and state leave requests. The Leave and Accommodation Specialist will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and provide guidance on leave laws, policies and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, risk management or related field.
  • 2-4 years of leave administration or human resources experience.
  • FMLA case management experience.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Capable of handling difficult or sensitive conversations with clarity and empathy.
  • Excellent at interpreting complex regulations and applying them consistently.
  • Effective conflict resolution and escalation skills.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize effectively and manage high volumes of information with accuracy.
