Role OverviewThe Department of Plant Pathology at The Ohio State University invites applications for a lecturer with training in Mycology and Psychedelic Studies to support its growing Mycology education programs. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in introductory/ethno mycology, general mycology, field mycology, and psychedelic studies or related courses.
What You Will Do
Teach current courses in the mycology curriculum, promote interest in mycological studies and careers through engaging lectures and student-centered learning, coordinate inspiring guest-lectures that enhance learning objectives, and provide guidance on educational and career paths for students interested in mycology and psychedelic programs and careers.

The successful candidate will be expected to have a Ph.D. in Mycology, Plant Pathology, Ecology, or a closely related field, research experience in Mycology, experience in the field of Psychedelic Studies through publication and/or scientific/public presentations, and a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring students.
