Legal Advisory Manager

The Legal Advisory Manager will lead high-impact advisory engagements, manage and mentor consultants and analysts, and help define the standards and playbooks that shape both PERSUIT’s methodology and broader market best practices. This role goes beyond individual client delivery, requiring the ability to lead complex advisory workstreams, manage stakeholders at senior executive levels, and translate expertise into scalable frameworks and measurable client impact.

What You Will Do

The ideal candidate will lead complex outside counsel management engagements, serve as a senior trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, provide end-to-end advisory across matter intake, panel design, strategic sourcing, fee structuring, legal project management, e-billing, invoice review, and spend governance, and translate data and operational insights into strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience
• Significant client-facing consulting or in-house legal operations leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience leading complex projects and managing stakeholders at senior executive levels
• Deep, practical experience in outside counsel management across the full lifecycle
• Advanced data literacy with the ability to independently manipulate, analyze, and interpret large data sets
• Experience translating financial and operational data into executive-level recommendations
• Comfort with Excel and analytical tools; familiarity with e-billing or matter management platforms is strongly preferred
