Role OverviewThe Legal Assistant - Letters reviews a daily worklist and creates letters to be sent to consumers. Letters types may include offer and balance letters, closure letters, validation and documentation letters, responses to disputes or fraud claims, judgment letters, and accounting letters.
What You Will Do
Accurately review files, create letters that respond to the consumer or attorney’s request, and attach the appropriate documentation. Track letters through the attorney approval process prior to mailing, and ensure that letters are correctly named, saved, and scanned into our database.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Prior experience in collections, banking, editing/proofreading, or legal assistant roles is a plus. Attention to detail is a must! Demonstrated ability to think critically, analyze problems, and use good judgment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Prior experience in collections, banking, editing/proofreading, or legal assistant roles is a plus

- Above average spelling, grammar, and basic math skills
- Ability to stay organized while handling multiple projects
