Role OverviewAs a Legal Assistant/Litigation Paralegal, you will play a critical role in managing residential and commercial foreclosure matters pending in Ohio and Kentucky state courts. You will work closely with attorneys and clients, handle substantive litigation tasks, and help drive files forward from pleadings through judgment and post-judgment activity.
What You Will Do
Draft and prepare litigation documents, e-file documents in Ohio and Kentucky courts, coordinate hearings, schedule court appearances, and maintain attorney calendars.

Requirements
- Prior experience handling mortgage foreclosure litigation matters (Ohio and/or Kentucky strongly preferred)
- 1–3+ years of litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience
- Paralegal certificate, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong knowledge of court filing systems, litigation deadlines, and document accuracy standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team
