Job Description
Akerman is seeking a full-time Conflicts Research Specialist to perform basic to complex research requests for incoming new clients. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and work under tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong work ethic and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, perform under tight time deadlines and flexibly adjust to changing priorities
  • Proficient computers skills required
  • Ability to self-manage and analyze information for client decision
  • High School diploma with 3 - 5 years of related work experience required
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certification strongly preferred
  • Law firm experience a plus (Paralegal, Library and/or Legal Research experience a plus)
  • Ability to type 55 WPM
