Job Description
Akerman is seeking a Conflicts Research Specialist to perform research requests for incoming new clients, utilizing systems provided by the customer. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, and be able to work with limited supervision.

Requirements

  • Conduct comprehensive research using industry knowledge
  • Prepare reports on companies and individuals
  • Maintain database search engines
  • Assist in training of other employees
  • Maintain professional communication with firm administration and attorneys
  • Assist in initial review of incoming new client and/or new matter requests
  • Validate incoming data and provide direction for Conflicts Team Members
  • Interact with firm employees to answer questions or update on status
  • Assist with quality control
