Job Description
Akerman is seeking a full-time Conflicts Research Specialist to perform research requests for incoming new clients, prepare reports, and maintain database search engines. The position requires strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, as well as ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently. Strong computer skills and proficiency in various software are required. A high school diploma with 3-5 years of related work experience is required, with a bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong work ethic and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, perform under tight time deadlines and flexibly adjust to changing priorities
  • Proficient computers skills required
  • Ability to self-manage and analyze information for client decision
  • High School diploma with 3 - 5 years of related work experience required
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certification strongly preferred
  • Ability to type 55 WPM
