Role OverviewThe Legal Counsel manages and negotiates the company's contractual relationships, identifies and addresses potential risks and legal implications of business decisions, conducts legal research, ensures compliance with licensing requirements, and reinforces TruHearing's strong culture of compliance and integrity.
What You Will Do
Review and negotiate commercial contracts, administer the contract management process, research and analyze laws and regulations, identify and interpret licensing requirements, and assist in managing outside counsel.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a Doctor of Jurisprudence from an American Bar Association (ABA) approved law school and four to six years' legal experience with an established, multi-practice business law firm and/or in an in-house legal role with a mid-sized or larger business.
Requirements
- Doctor of Jurisprudence from an American Bar Association (ABA) approved law school
- Four to six years' legal experience with an established, multi-practice business law firm and/or in an in-house legal role with a mid-sized or larger business
- Practice experience in business contracting, corporate governance, and entity formation and licensing
- Licensed and in good standing with a state Bar
