Job Description
The Campaign Finance Board is seeking a Legal Intern to assist with legal and investigatory work, including conducting research, drafting documents, and analyzing legislation and regulations. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in law school and has excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in law school for the next year.
  • Completion of at least one year of law school.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills;
  • Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and manage time effectively;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.
  • Creativity, teamwork, and empathy;
  • Demonstrated interest in public service
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Experience in NYC government, election law, campaign finance or a related field;
  • Experience in administrative law and/or regulatory enforcement;
  • Experience in legislation and regulation;
