This is a promotional recruitment for a permanent and/or probationary County employee to serve as a Legal Secretary - Senior in Placer County. The position involves providing responsible, administrative, and secretarial assistance to a legal unit, conducting specific and moderately complex analyses of legal documents, and providing technical and functional supervision over assigned staff.

Requirements

  • Four years of highly responsible legal secretarial experience
  • Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth-grade
  • Ability to work under time pressure and complete a high volume of tasks with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to work independently and make sound judgments
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
