Job Description
We are seeking a Part-Time Level 1 Recreational Coach to join our team at Mesa Rim Climbing Center in Mira Mesa, CA. As a L1 Coach, you will be responsible for coaching youth athletes, fostering a passion for climbing, and cultivating a motivating and educational practice environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must have one year experience working with youth
  • Must have one year of climbing experience
  • Must enjoy working with youth
  • Must possess basic knowledge of climbing technique and youth-specific training
  • Must be proficient in climbing and general fitness training practices and philosophies
  • Must demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Must have a drive to grow professionally
  • Must be able to work in an organized and transparent manner
  • Must pass criminal and sex offender background check
